AmericaShare was founded by Micato Safaris over 20 years ago to give back to the people of Africa, with children, orphanages and education as their highest priorities. One hundred percent of donations reach the children directly with all administrative costs paid by Micato.
Today AmericaShare supports hundreds of children in schools throughout Kenya. And now Micato has built on its support with its One for One Commitment. For every safari sold, Micato pays to send a child to school who would otherwise stay home due to extreme poverty. Micato has also built and stocked libraries in the Mukuru slum outside Nairobi.
